Who Is This Man????

Today I strolled into the Gap and found some sales, so I decided to shop. I found Brooks an outfit that looks so handsome on him. But that's not the point. The point is: he's only 9, and he's already into size a 12!! (Size 7 shoes, if you were wondering!) I don't know why I'm so surprised, but even Tim commented that the shorts were gonna be way to big for him, until I had B try them on--they fit like a glove! Who is this man, and what has he done with my little boy!?


For the record, and as part of a flashback Friday, here is my handsome man when he turned 3. THAT WAS JUST YESTERDAY!! (or so it seemed!)

Our Days at the Ballpark

Just thought I'd show some pics of the kids. I know they are basically the same pics I always take, but we are always at the field!!! And it's officially summer here...the temps have been in the high 80's for the past week. No relief in sight, so soon I'll post some pool pics, since we'll always be at the pool! ;-)

Cam & Her Class

I am beginning a new project for Camden's class at school, so I decided with only 5 weeks left in the school year, it was time to actually take some video & pics. Here are a couple from Monday. They have grown so much over the course of the Kindergarten year. So cute! And I wish my computer would let me load video for my blog, because I had some great movies of Brooks pitching his heart out this past weekend. He was really on....he pitched 6 1/3 innings and only allowed one run, 3 hits, 2 walks and a hit batsman. I was so impressed, and excited that he was excited---he's the youngest on his team, and doesn't always get to play such a big role. It was great!

4 WEEKS!!

I didn't realize it had been 4 WEEKS!! since I'd last blogged. Where does time go? We've been busy with Brooks' baseball season, traveling all over North Central Florida at least twice a month. And then there's Tim's team, which I'm happy to report that they are once again SEC Champions!!! So exciting! Now I'm ready to gear up for post season, which will hopefully include a trip to OKC again! Oh, and Kindergarten graduation, Teacher Appreciation Week, countless projects, etc., etc., etc.....But I'm thankful!!

Education Fair

Yesterday evening was the annual Education Fair at Hidden Oak Elementary. Since we live so close to the school, we decided to walk while the kids scootered/biked. As soon as we got there, Camden & Brooks participated in a 1 mile Fun Run. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they both did really well. Brooks ran his mile in 7 minutes & 4 seconds, and Camden ran her mile in 9 minutes & 30 seconds! Neither one stopped at all, and it just made me so proud! Then Brooks had his 3rd grade recorder concert. Very informal, but memorable, none the less. It was a terrific evening, and I'm really proud to have the kids at Hidden Oak!

AND on a side note, I loved hearing all the responses to my 3 previous blogs. Glad to know that you still love me, Lacy, and that Candace would rather have a pic with Bob Stoops than the QB. And little Bill, tell your dad that the shirts are coming soon!! And Leia, I didn't feel anything SPECIAL, persay, just excitement. And when did you meet Chuck Norris, Lacy?
